It must be no surprise to anyone when I say: spray bottles of cleaning products in our homes are hidden in cupboards or under the sink. But one day I thought: why not pack them into something that can stay on display? For example in an average Scandinavian bachelor home in the middle of Helsinki. Yes, the exact circumstances under which the idea of the re-design of this classic Finnish cleaning product was born. By the way, Scandinavia: it is no secret we have a clear, minimalistic style. And what Finnish people also treasure a lot: nature. I decided to combine these two ideas in one design. Swan is Finland’s national bird, which appears in the logo, as well as through the shape of the bottle: the silhouette of the curved neck and chest of this majestic bird. Although the logo is embossed in soft plastic to withstand wet environment during the use, the container is glass to be refillable, reusable, recyclable.
