Left Handed Vodka

The left-handed vodka is a concept work I take great pride in. It was voted to be showcased on the front page of Creativepool.com before my adventure to India. The goal with this project was to provide something truly unique for the Indian clients I worked with at the time. It had to be unknown, mysterious, surprising and breath-taking that also connects to my Scandinavian origins. The salty liquorice and vodka mix fit this idea perfectly. At its peak, this peculiar combination of molten “salmiakki” candy and vodka was more popular in Finland than certain household name alcohol brands. The hand-drawn scribbled typeface reminds of an ancient writing I pay tribute to India’s longstanding cultural history with, while the swirls and curves of the letters reflects to the twisted (salty, sweet, bitter) nature of the content.
