Concept work for the Swiss craft beer scene, which draws its inspiration from the street life of Basel. Probably the least Swiss town in Switzerland, both in good and bad.
Taking a stroll through the streets of Basel it is impossible not to notice numerous graffiti covering entire walls. People relaxing on the banks of the Rhine, the public BBQ grills and that smell of distinct smoke lingering around public areas…
The designs tap into these topics, being playful and catchy. They take inspiration from colorful graffiti and the laid-back atmosphere of Basel. After all they were designed to be a local oddity.
The naming also played a key element. For example, did you that one famous person from Basel accidentally created LSD? Or that the airport of Basel is split between Switzerland and France? If not, well now you know!
So Hopp Schwiiz with these hoppy IPAs!
